Re: Parcel shelf wont go down Renault Megane CC
Sorry for digging up a bit of an old thread. I have had the exact same issue with my partners 2004 CC. The parcel shelf was originally going down slower than the boot lid, leaving it on the 'outside' when fully closed. Then eventually it stopped working all together, and ended up staying up like a w...

Re: 53 Megane, Roof out of sync
Anyone got any ideas at all?
I've got everything sorted on the roof now, sensors etc. So it opens fully, and closes again.
BUT, that black plastic shelf doesn't close when the roof is down. It only closes when the roof is up.

Re: Odd electrical gremlins
Just done the exact same fix on our Megane. I've just pulled the drain pipes out of the scuttle and thrown them in the bin, there is nothing to get blocked that way. Wipers was the unit it's self. The motor mech had all gone gooey inside. It's dead easy to take out, and there is a plastic cover that...

53 Megane, Roof out of sync
Okay, so after fitting a new circuit board, I've got the car running, all well too. :) Still got a load of little bits to do, all of which I can do when I service it next week. But the main issue, I Cant get my head around, is the roof. It's fallen out of sync with the black plastic cover just behin...

Re: Electronic Fault - Fuse Board has gone furry
I am a Transport manager for a large breakers in Kent. We had a Megane in the yard today, which I whipped the fuse board out of. Very slightly different looking, but physically the same. It's got the same part number, but the fuse board on my CC, has an -A on the end of the number. But it's got the ...

Electronic Fault - Fuse Board has gone furry
Right guys, After receiving my key back from being repairs, I still could not get the car to start. It just comes up saying 'Electronic Fault' on the dash board. Now, after doing a bit of reading, I heard the fuse box is common for furring up. So I pulled it out, and was greeted with this instead: h...

Re: New Member - New Megane Owner - Few issues
Okay, at that price, I will fix the current switches. I received my key back today from the chap on ebay who repairs them. It works fine, unlocks the car as it should. But car still wont start. I don't think it's acknowledging the key, as it makes no difference when I press the start button, weather...

Unless you've called it something other than a Microswitch, then the search facility is not working for me.

New Member - New Megane Owner - Few issues
Evening all, This is my first post. I've been doing Google searches this afternoon, and most of the results directed me to this forum, So I thought I would sign up, and un-earth some of the problems with my Megane. Now, I'm a KEEN Renault enhusiast, I've had quite a lot of the earlier style Renaults...
