Re: Adding a spare wheel
Hi. I cut the bit out that was lower than the rest of the Floor (this part is for a Wind Defector). I then cut part of the side's off so the side's did not stand higher than the rest of the floor. I then put it back in as a separate part. It looks ok, but I brought a Rubber Boot Liner that covers th...

Re: Xenon Light Problem
Hi. Could be the UCH Board as I think it controls the lights. These Board are known to have problems, could be the connectors on the board, dry joint ETC.
The board is above the Grove Box.

P.S. Of cause it could be the Light connector itself, again dry joint ETC.

Re: 06 megane 2 1.9dci a few problems
Hi. Try some CARLUBE Injector cleaner (for Diesel's) in the Tank and give it a good run down a motorway/fast road, do about 50 miles should give the system a good clean out. If that does not work you need to get a Computer on it to check readings ETC. CARLUBE lot cheaper, about £5.00 a Bottle. Door/...

Re: Megane cc boot space (roof down)
Hi. The Rear Seats do not fold down. Cannot give you size of space but its about third of the Boot space. Only problem is putting bags in/out with Roof down, the gap between Boot Lip and part of the Roof is small. Put Bags in with Roof up and then lower the Roof. There is some space under the Floor ...

Re: Window washers not working
Hi. The Stick should come towards you I think!
If the Washer and Wipers are not working when pulling the Stick it possible the wiring within the Stick it self that is at fault Broken Wire or Connect Switch.
I don't think there is a separate Fuse for the Washers.

Re: Intermittent engine starting problem
Hi. It has to be Damp or Dry Joints on connectors if it works after spaying with WD40. Take connectors apart and spay inside, it will be trial and error, one of them is not making a good connection. Switches as well give them a spay. get some Damp Start and spay all the Cables you can get at. Hope t...

CC ROOF CHANGING TWO SMALL WHITE BUSHES.
Hi. Has any one changed the "Two small White Bushes" on the Bar that is connected to the Roof Cable that locks and unlocks the Catches at the front.
The Bar is just behind the Drivers/Passengers Head.
If so how.

Carlube Cleaner v M.P.G
Hi. I live in Dorset and last weekend went to Milton Keynes and back. Before starting I put about 300ml of Carlube in the Tank to clean the Fuel System and Injectors (Diesel 1.9DCi CC Roof UP). Drove up at about 50-70 miles per hour most of the way and got 60 miles per Gallon! On the way back drove ...

Re: Knocking noise front RHS
Have a look at the "universal Joints" on the Drive Shift's it could be that, if Rubber Boot which covers them is Ripped ETC and letting in Dirt/Water this will wear the joint and cause a knocking noise.
The MOT should have pick it up.

Re: Megane II CC Brake Light
One thumb screw is on the back panel and one on the side panel on the inside of the boot, you will also have to disconnect the wiring when get the light unit out.
you will then have unclip the lamp's holder.
