Possible fuel pump pulley noise indicating worn pump. Maybe also water pump.

Sounds to me like you might have badly worn anti-roll bar bushes and or stabiliser link ball joints. Gives a feeling like the car is sliding across its axle.

I suspect you have either a faulty alternator (due to the field excitation canbus circuit) which aren't a cheap replacement or a stuck idle control valve. Could be as simple as a blocked diesel filter especially if you use supermarket fuel but using a good diagnostic obd reader and graphing the sign...

The fact that the EML illuminated indicates that a fault code will be stored in the ECU and when read by the mechanic should point him in the right direction. It is quite possible to be the tie rods.

I have replaced many on Meganes. Quite an easy task and not too costly. Also prone to bottom ball joints.
