Under the back bumper are to cast iron weights described as counter weights. As the tow bar I am fitting is also very heavy are these weights required, and what do they do . What will be the effect if I leave them off? Seems a pity to lug all this extra weight around,

my passenger window motor was dead (2005 CC) I unplugged the big multiway connector between the door and body, it has a lever which makes it easier! a bit of wd40 reconnected and hey presto I now have power. This connector has a nice rubber seal it didn't look as though water had entered may be coin...

Hi Sounds as though it's the passenger window motor module there are a lot of complaints with them due to moisture getting in them, it means taking the door panel off and having a look. I am in the process of doing mine - similar problem without the smell. if it is the module you can get it refurbis...
