Right. This is going to sound weird. No mechanics have a clue as to what the problem is so far. I have 1.4 16v Extreme 56 plate. So I start the car up. Sometimes it idles. Well I did that and resetted the throttle body. The car has started everytime since. However a minute into my drive, when i down shift, my car just stalls. So i start it back up and then it drives like normal again... Confusing! Any help? Thanks

Well today it only seemed to stay on once the engine was past one notch on the temperature gauge. I went renault and they said they would have to clean/change the throttle body. I am visiting a friend tomorrow with one of those Snap On reading kits which will hopefully give me a better indication.

Yeah it starts when I rev it, well this time it did. It has recently been MOT'd and Serviced before I bought it. I've heard it could be something to do with faulty ignition coils..
