Sounds like your brother in law is right. I think the part is about £50.00 and your labour roughly the same plus VAT so your looking at just over a £100.00.

O.k. Alex b. What I was trying to explain in my second sentence, is when the fault occurs vibration is felt in the wheels as if the Esp is constantly kicking. Thanks AlexB, I'll see about the grease tomorrow when i can take a closer look. As for the plugs the NGK PFR7G-9 as i said i replaced the lot and have been advised to get another and replace the fault prone coil no:2. O.k so, took the car to the garage and they hooked me up to the heart monitor and all sorts of things were displayed. Mainly the fault that kept re-occuring was a coil no: 2 fault. This was strange as i had just replaced all the coils, so i switched it for the one that the garage had replaced earlie...
