Sounds like your brother in law is right. I think the part is about £50.00 and your labour roughly the same plus VAT so your looking at just over a £100.00.

O.k so, took the car to the garage and they hooked me up to the heart monitor and all sorts of things were displayed. Mainly the fault that kept re-occuring was a coil no: 2 fault. This was strange as i had just replaced all the coils, so i switched it for the one that the garage had replaced earlie...
