If it is moulded on the other side you could drill a hole through to make it work, then use some instant gasket to seal it. Depends how DIY you want to go compared to spending on the new part

Do mean when you actually turn the wheels to the right or when the vehicle is moving to the right? Have you checked that nothing is catching on the wheel arches? Possibly they've been nocked when the new tires have been fitted? Could it just been the new tires? Like when you turn in a car park with ...

How does it connect on the rear? Couldn't you possibly DIY it with a long 10mm bolt? And a nut on other end?

Bumpety bump. Any ideas, advice etc guys? I've googled up a few things. Failing injectors, water temp sensor messing up fuel mixture, allot have said dephaser but I don't believe the 1.4 was has it fitted. Bit old now but id jack both sides up on axle stands. Very first time I did this on a golf ( wasn't very experienced then).
