Hi, if it's the same as mine I think the car starts with the brake down if gears are in neutral or if you happen to have left the car in gear you have to press the clutch down or it will not start on the button. Hi, I have exactly this problem as well on the drivers door (don't usually try the passenger door). Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. It would be nice to fix, it is annoying!

Thanks and you might be right. Thing is though I'm sure the noise was there before the cabelt change. I may drop it in to a garage tomorrow and see what they reckon.
