Solar Battery Charger

Hi All
As i don't use my car that often in a week it was suggested i get a solar battery charger to keep battery topped up,but this plugs into the cigar lighter which isn't permantly live,any suggestions how i make this permanently live please.

Hi all
Car been in local garage today and there saying its most probably anti-roll bar drop link rod.
Its the only thing they could find a bit of play on,so as there not that expensive will renew them first.

Just normal driving,going over sleeping policeman etc.Only notices when going slow 30 mph.

Knocking from Front

Have checked out forum & seen many answers to knocking from front of motor (not sure what side),but judging by these answers this would be m.o.t failure,yet i've put up with this knocking for 2 years now & the car has passed 2 m.o.t's.Does anyone know of a knocking where it wouldn't be an m....

Hi All Is there anywhere i can get a diagram of said door beneath the door card. Only i foolishly took apart to take window motor etc. off,and yes you guessed it,can't remember how cables went etc. I know, should have took photos in this digital age. Any help greatly appreciated. Hi all I wrote a few weeks ago about my passenger window not working. Well at last over the weekend I stripped the rear door,and took the part off the window motor where the wires plug in, held with small torx screw,tried it on the front passenger door and window worked. Sorry to be a pain but don't want to waste £60.
To test the window motor with 12 battery does anyone know which out of the 6 pins i connect wires too.

What pins would i connect 12 volt battery too.
There are 6 would it be the 2 in the middle only they are fatter then the other 4 :?

Sorry to keep on but are the rear window regs. the same only i thought i could swap them over as we don't use the rear windows.

Sorry i meant checking the motor.
The cable seems fine.
Window doesn't open from either switch,have checked fuse,can't think of anything else.

I believe my F/N/S window regulator has gone.

1. Is there a way of checking it

2. The ones for a Megane on E. Bay don't look like mine,are Scenics the same?

Yea thats correct and you was correct with your diagnosis. Took it to garage this morning and was able to get it sorted there and then. Went to Lookers of Colchester and found them very obligeing. Free coffee and todays paper to read and total cost wasn't that bad considering they regassed Air/con a...
