Cleared all codes with snap on scanner. So far so good.

ELECTRIC HANDBRAKE RESET???
Hi, does anyone know if you can manually reset the electric handbrake warning light. My handbrake works fine and has just passed its mot, but have this CHECK HANDBRAKE, and ELECTRIC HANDBRAKE FAULT message. Battery did go flat, not sure if thats the cause. Failing that can the latest Snap on scanner...

Just for anyone who is interested it seems that all 6speed f9q engines are almost the same and can be interchanged regardless of codes. The sumps can vary but will still fit, also crank, cam and injection pump sprokets may need to be swapped as there are different sizes. As long as the bell housing ...

Great, thanks very much for all your help. It turned out that the smaller nipple on the black plastic out let on the vac pump had snapped of so i couldnt see where it went. Thanks for your replies, i will try and put a pic on later, could you please confirm that the little valve that bolts to the manifold has the left hand outlet unconnected, it is the end were the electrical connector goes. Mine just has the two on the right hand side used. Many thanks.
