Re: Air con not working 2006 1.5dCi Megane II Sport Tourer

Update: I have ordered a pressure sensor online and changed it myself. Nothing changed. I have measured the voltage between the 3 pins which are plugged into the sensor, but showed the same voltage when the fan was on or both the fan and air con was on. There is another 2 pin plug which goes to comp...

Re: Headlight not working - Please help

My dimmed headlights are working again!!!! :rock Today, with the help of my brother, we have identified (don't ask me how, he has the knowledge) which wire from the five could be bad/broken - it was the green one. Then, checked all green wires just before they are connected to a connector on the fuse...

Re: Headlight not working - Please help

Hi all, I have managed to check the dimmed headlight connection today with the multimeter. The result, on the side where the lights are not working it shows 6.5 V, while on the working side, for the same bulb it shows 12.5 V. Basically there is not enough voltage on one side to light the bulbs up. I...

Re: Air con not working 2006 1.5dCi Megane II Sport Tourer

Hi Mick, At first there was no pressure in the air con, so I took it for regas. In the garage they filled it up but said the compressor is not kicking in, so I left the car with them to diagnose the problem. They called me saying they think it is the pressure sensor, but they quoted a horrendous amo...

Re: Air con not working 2006 1.5dCi Megane II Sport Tourer

I have bought a diagnostic tool, which arrived today. I have connected it to the car and it showed an error code P0381 - Glow Plug/Heater Indicator Circuit Malfunction. Could this error code prevent the air con from working e. g. the compressor kicking in? I am thinking about erasing the code to see...

Air con not working 2006 1.5dCi Megane II Sport Tourer

HI, I have bought a Sport Tourer couple of months ago. The aircon was not working. Now I took it for a regas, the garage filled it up but said it is still not working. I have booked it in for an inspection and they said it is probably the pressure sensor. I have bought a sensor which I have changed ...

Re: Headlight not working - Please help

Today I have managed to open up the fuse box and checked all the fuses, but all seemed to be ok. There are many empty slots, without any fuses, all I can think of is maybe the fuse is missing. Could someone please help me to point out where the fuse for the right dimmed headlights should be? https:/...

Hi All, I have noticed on my 2006 Megane estate 1.5 dCi that the driver side dimmed headlights are not working. I have bought 3 H7 replacement bulbs 1 standard and 2 xenon ones. I have tried all of them, but still no joy. I have tried these on the passenger side and all the bulbs have been working. ...

Re: Air conditioning fault 1.5dci

Hi all, My air con is not blowing cold air on my 1.5 diesel estate (which I have just bought). As I have read the above posts, thought I will try to clean the pressure sensor first and if it still wont work I will try to regas it. My question is, how do you guys go about removing the pressure sensor...
