thats brilliant, ive got the same problem & although everything works its just the engine doesnt turn over! checked the ech fuse board plug in pins & fuses etc but its difficult to know if its ok, suppose a bit of water can cause a small short that you cant see. Any way must look for a board...

I have dried my ech out & cleaned all plugs but although when starter pressed things click & work (lights.c.locking,wipers etc) engine doesnt turn over! I had water in the footwells do you think inside ech could have got wet? main ecu all looked dry + they have sealed plug in connectors.

i have exactly the same problems & have been thro it as you have, mine was water from the top as skuttle drains had blocked. I had water inside aswell. is it possible to fit a s/h board? Had the usual problem drain holes blocked & water o/flowed onto engine fuse board & inside floor.
Dried it out but everything works lights, wiperscentral locking & relays seem to click when you press starter but engine doesnt turn over. All fuses ok.
