Hi had the same problem on my 57 plate.Called an auto electician, he removed trim and checked connectors of rear motor, there was rust, he just cleaned them up and hey presto job was done..

Many thanks for the tips mine is a 57 plate privilege (150) 2.0 dci cc, with 97500 miles on the clock still looks & drives like new, but wear on the door handles lets it down.. thanks again
