I experienced the same symptoms when I had a cell fail in the battery - it happened without warning about 10 mins after I had parked the car and returned to start it.

I know all dealers are different, but when we bought our Megane, there was a flaw in the plastic on the tachometer surround (looked like a black dot that you could wipe off, but on closer inspection was actually a minor moulding fault) Dealer changed it over at the first service without any problem ...

I've heard Renault recommend the rubber seal be cleaned regularly - does anyone know if they mean a wipe with a cloth, or applying some sort of chemical? Not sure what to try, don't want to initiate new creaks and squeaks!

No juddering or squeaking here - running original equipment wipers (yes I know they are expensive, but they seem to work fine!)

In the past, I have found RainX always causes some sort of wiper judder.

I get some creaking in hot weather (> 30 degrees C), and a little rattle occasionally from the sun blind when closed.

I've put it down to standard Renault rattles, not terribly annoying but it does seem incurable!
