Re: EGR Blanking

If you blank off the EGR on a turbo diesel on a Renault, you will kill it most likely. The least you will expect is all manner of fault codes and lights going off. Why would you want to do it ? Because the EGR Valve is the devils own work and doesn't actually aid the running of the car, it just aid...

But there is a man selling blanking plates on ebay, So has anyone done it?

Any silly lights or running issue?

Rear seat bases

Not a problem as such, more of a question. Can the rear seat bases be removed easily enough? There is a piece of plastic around each hinge that almost looks like the correct twiddle and they will remove? Am i correct or are tools required? Its a 3 door hatch back and I want to do this to allow the s...

Re: Car is here, daft questions time

The loose door trim was cured by removing it and ensuring that all the clpis were actually in their corresponding hole!!!

After Renault sold me 6 clips that are obviously not for my car!!!

Re: Car is here, daft questions time

Been to Renault Stockport, quite funny to be fair.

There were two other similar Maganes there, I had a look in each one, one car had both missing, and one car still had one fitted.

Sonic alarm/motion sensors.

I gather they get knocked off putting stuff in the car

Car is here, daft questions time

Picked the car up today, general condition is good, a few niggles, but i'm sure that I'll sort them out. 1, with the boot open, there are two bits missing one either side on the uprights, with a wire coming out of either side?? what are they?? 2, The door trim on the outside of the drivers door seem...

Re: How to retrofit cruise control, step by step..

Let me get this in my head.

If you buy the OE parts off the first page, do you need the resistors?

Or are there more parts required?

having not purchased the car yet, its a bit pie in the sky I know.

but doing 30k a year, i want the thing done asap.
