OK OK, I get it!!!!
But if I drive one, I'll only go and buy the bloody thing
Actually, I'd love one, and it would be a little multi-air one. They have a tendency to work
Ooops! We need a new code word for the Milano company, and fast before someone notices!

Re: Airbag light and other issues
Shwsh! Don't tempt me!
Finance agreement is calling me Naaah, I'll stick to something used, and cheap. But this little Meggy may shortly be going to the big carpark in the sky But it's been a cheap and enjoyable 6 months

Re: Airbag light and other issues
Alex, many thanks for your detailed reply. This explains the issues to me in a much clearer way than I have previously understood. It's a shame, as I like the car, but I would guess its actually worth more in bits than as a car, especially considering what some breakers wanted for good front ends. T...

Re: Airbag light and other issues
Well, thanks for your thoughts lads, I'm starting to accept that is the only option left. Under the test conditions we got the car going with no problems after it cut out, with the wheel lock relinquishing grip ok. Wondering more than anything else if this is a known problem or hoping it might be on...

Airbag light and other issues
Good day all! Sorry for the long post, but I need to descibe the symptons accuratly if I'm going to get an accurate answer 8-) So my little Meggy is doing me proud, with nearly 5,000 miles of almost trouble free motoring behind it, but it has given me a desire to upgrade to a nicer example with at l...

Re: door rattle
Cover is missing, just covered with black tape atm, sorry, forgot to mention.
Also it sounds like a metalic rattling more than a plastic thing, anyway, no good to me as the car is now off the road

Re: Engine will not start when Clutch depressed????
My car now does half the starting sequence when you press the clutch, it unlocks the steering wheel, switches the glow plugs on and all ancillaries, except it won't start. Put my foot on the brake and another press of the button and it fires up. If it's in gear it tells me to select neutral, and it ...

Re: Hi everyone!!!
Hi, and thanks for your reply, I'll check the plug re. Airbag light in the daylight. Unfortunatly, the CD player won't play anything. It made a ticking noise like a machiene gun when I got it, so I removed the player and manually ejected the jammed CD (hoping to solve the problem) the CD came out, a...

Re: Stickies for fuel consumption
Average consumption is 56.5 mpg on my trip, normal commute is 7 miles, with 30,40,50,60, and 70mph speed limits all on the route! Plus lots of town driving. Best consumption was a run to Liverpool, got 62.7 mpg from the trip Worst consumption was 38.7 mpg, first run after fixing it, with clogged EGR...

Hi everyone!!!
Well, I suppose I had to do it eventually, after much refusal, it's finally time to register here. I am the sometimes proud owner of an 04 Megane 1.5 dCi 80 Extreme. I bought it unrecorded damaged just before christmas and have re-fronted it, I admit, I need to fit the new bonnet still, but it runs ...
