The glovebox locks on mine (09)
But, as corasdad kinda suggests, it doesn't always close properly so can't lock

If that's the Update List head unit you need to get a cable from ebay - about 8 quid - and plug it into the back HTH

The alarm handbook says 5 presses
I saw on another forum that it needed 3 presses
