Hi this to my megane several times for no reason I thought maybe it was a problem with fuel I had just put in so I run it down filled the tank and added redex to give it good clean out this was several months ago and touch wood it hasn't happened since

Just replace my radio in my megane for a after market one. The original one was a tuner list everything works fine apart from the fact it wont switch on without start starting the engine as these cars don't have acc like you would if you had a ingnition key the original radio would switch on for 20 ...

Mine did the same I took off the the TDC sensor cleaned the tip with some wet and it cured the problem you will find it down the right hand side near the gearbox bell housing

Can't see anything I have disturbed but see quite a few people that have the same problem and and have have ecu calibration as a solution this I will give that a try it does seem to be getting better though the more I drive it

If the battery is disconnected there is a reset procedure for the ECU to learn the idle and your driving habits. I've posted it verbatim on here before. But, I think the idea is to start from cold, hold at a fast idle for 15 minutes until the radiator fans have kicked in, then try 15 minutes of mix...
