Wire Chaffing - nearly a problem
Not sure if this is technically the correct place to put this but the mods can always give me a slapped wrist and move it! Looking at the engine of my 2006 DCI Mégane I noticed that the engine cover wobbles a fair bit and was actually chaffing the wires of the unit to its right (when viewed from the...

Now the wires have pulled out. Anyone know anything about them? Can I get new, stick w...

Re: Wet floor boxes
My car leaks in through the door pockets. Have found them to be soaked. Think I'll take the door cards off and get that sticky backed plastic used to cover school books and seal the door with it where I can. May work to stop some wet getting in.

you need the joining cable from the headunit to the CD changer. EBay usually have a few or contact Renault breakers, mine cost £10

Re: ICE Updated
Bought my speakers off EBay. Similar price to everywhere else tbh.
Noticed the other night the Laguna stereo has Red illuminations instead of White on the original one. makes no difference to me though

Works great! If doing a mystery changer and mystery headunit do the headunit first then connect the cd changer.

Wing mirror de-misting
Hey,
Are both wing mirrors supposed to de-mist when the heated rear screen is turned on?
My drivers one does but the passenger one doesnt clear at all.
I think the outside temperature sensor is in the left hand wing mirror, could this be a reason or is it broken?
Thanks
Tim

Re: ICE Updated
New speakers are much crisper and fuller sound. Still not full of bass due to depth and mounting plastic of the Megane but a vast improvement on the original speakers. Appear much louder too.

Car going well, drying out since the garage fixed the leak and looking smart! Think these accidentally found items from work are helping with the damp.
