Re: flat spot
Recently I have noticed the same issue on my 08 08 Sport Tourer 1.9 Dynamique S dCi 130. It is intermittent and seems fairly minor (in fact my fuel economy is great at the moment so hopefully the engine is sweet) but if it continues or worsens I'll have to get it looked at. Like the OP I'd gratefull...

Re: 04 Megane Passenger Window wont go up or down
Hi I guess it may not help you with an 04 car but I thought the following was worthy of mention: I had the exact same problem on my 08 Sport Tourer - initially the nsf window would only go up / down 1cm at a time (I reset it by holding the switch in the up position for 10 secs) and then it jammed ha...

Wheel alignment - rear wheel castor angle
Hi folks Just fitted four new tyres to my 08 Meg Sport Tourer 1.9dCi so had the wheel alignment checked (garage used the laser wheel alignment technology). Some slight adjustments were required, however on the rear wheels the castor angle was found to be slightly outside manufacturer tolerance on th...

Re: Morning Starts
I was browsing on here with the exact same query - glad to know I'm not alone!
Mine is an 05 55 Sport Tourer 1.5 dCi 86bhp. Only other comment is that the exhaust fumes seem smellier than usual, although that is possibly just due to the exhaust deflecting off the snow under the car...

Alloy wheel corrosion
I cleaned my car recently
When doing so I happened to notice some corrosion on my wheels - which just looks like they are bubbling up a bit around the edges of the spokes.
Anyone got any tips about how to get rid of/protect against alloy wheel corrosion

Squeaky noise/metal on metal
Can anyone help me with the following: My 2005 Sport Tourer 86bhp 1.5dCi with just under 55k on the clock has recently started to make a squeaky noise which sounds like metal on metal. It doesn't seem to be anything major (no warning lights have come on or anything) and is mainly noticeable when on ...

Diesel sooted up?
Hi folks I had a bit of an issue at the weekend whereby my 55 plate 1.5dCi (86bhp) Sport Tourer suddenly seemed to go into safety mode when I was joining the M40! Engine speed seemed to be limited to 2000 rpm so I was struggling to get above 55-60mph. After stopping the engine and letting it rest fo...

Re: 2005 Megane 1.4 16V 5DR Need General Help
Hi and welcome! Actually I too would be interested in your responses... ...because I have a 2005 Megane Sport Tourer with water that accumulates in the drivers door pocket and when I bought it the rear window motor was kaputt! I haven't done anything with the water leaks but the window motor was war...

Re: Tyre pressure -1.6 Sports tourer
My 1.5dCi Sport Tourer is 2.3 bar (front) and 2.0 bar (rear), motorway pressures.
I think there is a tyre pressure table in the service book from memory.
Hope this helps

A new mpg record?
1.5dCi 86Bhp Sport Tourer - 05 55 plate with approx 45k on the clock.
Just filled up with trip reading 857.3 miles on the last tank - 56.2 litres used.
That's over 69mpg!!!

Re: tips or tricks
Does anyone know anything about the tyre pressure monitor? I've never seen anything appear on the dash - and I had a puncture ages ago before I realised this was present on the car! I do keep my tyre pressures topped up as I do a lot of motorway driving.

Re: 1.9 dci 120 low mpg
I tend to monitor my mpg tank to tank and I've found the best indication of the fuel economy you get from any one tank of fuel is obtained by resetting the mpg when you fill up. I've started doing this becoz I had a tank of fuel from BP which gave me surpringly low mileage yet the mpg reading said 6...
