The problem with the prius is that the hybrid drive chain and batteries only have a life span of around 100k miles.

What Toyota didn't say to the eco fans, is that the batteries will die and need to be disposed of. Which I think totally undoes the whole reason for the Prius.

CC specs changed at the beginning of 2007.

All post 2007 CC's had their specs upgraded to rival the Focus CC and 307cc.

Autoglass replaced my windscreen in summer. They simply unclipped the sensor, and clipped it back on to the new windscreen when done.

Everything works as it should, no problems.

I've now changed the front 4 speakers.

Anyone know of how to access the rears on the CC?

How do I know its even armed?

Or if is deactivated, how do I reactive it.

I'm just not convinced its got an alarm. I haven't noticed any sensors, or heard it making any alarm related noise

My biggest pet hate with the Meg CC is the window controls.

Why the hell can't you use 1-touch to close any or all the windows???

Its got it for opening the windows!

Yeh the privilege CC comes with the remote hands free card / folding mirrows as standard.

I have an interesting question.

I was told that over 6 mph the doors lock automatically as an anti hijack feature.

Does that still work with the hands free card?

Also if it does, then won't the doors just simply unlock because the card is in the car?
