au revoir megane!

Well, the little Meg has finally gone tonight. Must admit it was harder to say goodbye than i had predicted. In 4 years of ownership it only ever needed the squealing brake fix and a new fuel pump. Won't miss the creaks and squeaks from the interior though. Picking up my MG ZT 2.0 CDTI on Thursday m...

Clio radio code help please

Hi all, Just needing some help with regards to a friends 2002 Clio. The Clio originally only came with a radio and no cd player, however she bought a second hand cd player from another Clio owner which came with the code. A couple of weeks ago the car went into the garage and they disconnected the b...

Re: Parcel shelf doesn't fit!

I too have this problem with the parcel shelf. Mine has been like it since i got the car brand new. I had it checked by Renault while it was under warranty and they informed me that the parcel shelf was in fact warped but they would not replace it under warranty for some reason! Mine too is okay if ...

re-mapping a 1.6

I am considering having my 1.6 re-mapped, possibly by Angel tuning. Was just wondering whether anyone else has had there 1.6 done and if they consider it worthwhile as compared to diesel engines, the gains in torque and bhp are small. What sort of gains did you get? Any comments or advice appreciated.

Re: auto gear stick

I might do as you suggest Deano, Just not sure if there will be any problems in shortening it. I wouldn't have thought so. Not sure as to whats inside the stick, will have to take mine off and have a peek about.

Re: auto gear stick

It just is too long for my personal preference. I have driven several other make autos and they had shorter gear sticks and i prefered them. maybe my arms are just too long for the one in my meg. lol

auto gear stick

Hi all,

Does anyone know if you can shorten the Auto gear stick? I know you can remove it and how to remove it, but I find it too high and would prefer it to be a bit shorter.

Has anyone done this or heard of anyone doing this to their auto gear stick?

Cheers .

bucksrenaults - Aylesbury

Just thought I'd give this place a mention as myself and my missus have been using them for a while now for our Megane and our Clio. They are very friendly, very knowledgable and a hell of a lot cheaper than main dealers. They are based in Aylesbury and do just about everything a main dealer does. T...

My car had its MOT last week and i was advised that there is a knocking noise from the front left wheel when on full lock either left turn or right. I was shown the noise and told that although it wasnt an mot failure, i should get it looked at. Was told it was probably the strut mount. I am a compl...

just spoken to Renault and was told that my warranty runs out on 28/10/2007 , and I am only covered by my warranty if the fault is diagnosed within the warranty period. So I have been told that I should take the car in immediately and they will try and look at it today. But it means leavig the car w...

window tinting

Hi all,

I am looking to have my windows tinted finally.

Was just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent place to have them done, somewhere which does a good job at an affordable price.

I am based in Ealing, west London at the moment and am willing to travel for the right place.

Cheers
