I need to replace the front N/S Spring as it has snapped. Will a spring off a normal megane fit exactly the same or is the CC different? Any one done this before to a CC?

The cover is in place. I have removed and checked the engine fuse box to check for water and blown fuses but all are fine. The start button lights up and you can hear a click when pressed. around 3-4 seconds after this is pressed there is another click. Thats all its doing. No lights on dash at all....
