Hi,
On my Megane 2 1.9dci I have no radio display on the dash or aircon display on dash. Checked fuses on the inside, all ok. Radio still working,
Aircon fan dead.
Any help.

Megane 2 1.9dCi oil leak

Hi guys

I have a small oil leak on the intercooler PVC pipe where it joins the steel or aluminium (not sure) pipe. It sits just above no. 4 injector.
Any ideas the reason?

Dci 1.9 wont start when hot

Hi guys

I have Megane2 1.9Dci The last few days found that after driven and the engine is hot it wont start. I crank the starter the motor turns but just wont start.
Wait 2 hours then it starts but not immediately as it should.

I had the same message once "Check injection" and we found one glowplug to be dead.

Re: Megane2 1.9dCi Catalytic converter

"Sell it before it bankrupts you" I have had the Megane since new(2004), and the only problem we had was a glowplug in 2009 and now the turbo. Total costs R5400.00 (500 pound).

Re: Megane2 1.9dCi Catalytic converter

The insides of the converter was banged out thus the casing still remains, I beleive. Mot tests we dont have.

Re: Megane2 1.9dCi Catalytic converter

In South Africa we dont have to have the catalytic converter. In any case i have removed it and a Cat fooler was installed to fool the computer. Works like a dream and it has a bit more power..

Re: Stickies for fuel consumption

No Skodas here use to have Seats but stopped importing them.
Driving style? very relaxed. As I said smells rich when stopped. And nothing wrong with the power delivery.

Re: Stickies for fuel consumption

Hi All My first time on the Forum My 1.9Dci 2004 used to get 38Mpg town driving, it has dropped to 31, on the open road doing 120km/hr(In South-Africa we do everything in km/hr) I get 53Mpg(5.3L/100km). Any idea why it's dropped like that in town. Fully serviced recently and EGR cleaned. Only done 7...
