Parcel Shelf Problems

When my roof is up my parcel shelf has dropped by an inch or so, when the roof is down it sits flush with the boot like its meant to. I've been in the boot to investigate and it looks like theres a sticky foam pad that stops the shelf from going further into the boot space. Mine has gone below this ...

Re: Stalling straight after starting

Mine has been doing this intermittently for the past two and a half years. I know it's not much help but I'm so used to getting in and revving up to 2000 revs to get it to catch. I've tried taking it to my mechanic but it only does it from a cold start, so by the time I get to his garage it behaves ...

Re: Engine and service light on

It is indeed the O2 sensor. Not got it booked in yet, is it a long job or will it just a day job, just so I can arrange time off etc. even simple jobs such as changing bulbs seem to be a big old pantomime. Also in true dizzy tart style I forgot to ask how much it's likely to cost, any ideas?

Did you get to the bottom of this? Mine has just done the same thing, car seems to be running fine.

**Quick update, mine is the O2 sensor.**

Re: Megane CC - Crack!! What happened?

The parcel shelf is the last part to slot into place it stays upright until the last minute. Mind this is from memory because both my back window regulators need replacing so I haven't had the roof down in a while.

Engine and service light on

Ive just been out in my 54Reg :? Megane 1.6 CC and the engine light and service light came on, no alteration in performance or engine noise that I can tell. Will be popping to my friendly mechanic tomorrow to check it out. I seem to remember this came on when I needed my coils changing, but the engi...

Changing bulbs

Has anyone got an easy way of changing the bulbs in the front lights? My poor Dad had to take my front bumper off recently just to change an idicator bulb. He changed all the bulbs to avoid a repeat, but I was thinking it must be easier than that. I tried to change the bulb myself by using the acces...

Re: Embarrasing horn

I read this with interest because I'm always on the horn lol, a trick I learned in America, makes people pay attention, my horn is quite loud and attention grabbing, not the pathetic "parp" my last car gave out!

Re: Rear window regulator cables

Chrism this might seem like a bit of a dim question but is your window fixed in the up position and no longer working? If so do you still put the roof down? I've had both my back regs disconnected to stop the windows from getting stuck in the down position (long story), been too scared to put roof d...

Re: Bloody Windows!

Hmmm I might have to have a little trip to Renault and get them to do it!! I figured my car (54 Reg) was too old for them to do it with any discount, I'd be happy to contribute the 25% its better than the £600 I've already spent on regs. My roof still works, I'm just too chicken in case the glass sm...
