Cured the Kangarooing!!
My 1.4 16v has had this annoying thing where you can't "cruise" without it kangarooing. On small amounts of throttle the engine feels like it's being restricted & feels kind of hesitant! I replaced 2 engine coils as the code reader picked this up but this didn't cure the problem. Howev...

My advice would be to start putting some money aside, like a savings kitty, you could call it the "megane account"!

Thanks very much guys. My car is doing funny things & from what I've read is exactly the same symptoms as when the egr valve needs cleaning- Very hesitant engine, like, restrictive on low throttle, it's like you can't cruise- either foot down or let off completely to cure it or it starts to kang...

Defo sounds like a good buy with really low milage :D I kid you not, it's almost like new, so good it made me a bit suspicious for a few minutes while viewing it. Everything checked out though, to the letter & the family who owned it were very nice people. I just hope it's not plagued with elec...

i have just been into my renault garge as my driver window has stopped working - told its a known problem and that renault will pay 75% question if its a known problem why are renault not paying the whole sum? any ideas how i should pursue? I use Blackcircles these days for my car & van. Always best prices & you can chose a local approved fitter.
