Re: rattle and wheels
Cheers for the replies folks. Still considering the wheel option. Where did you get the 18 inch rims. I presume you got the tyres locally. As for the question on the rattle what i should have made clearer was that i want to know how the complete panel the light sits in is removed.

rattle and wheels
Can anyone tell me how to remove the panel that houses the interior lights on my 2007 cc to rectify an annoying rattle presumably coming from loose cables for the drop down roof. also i am contemplating the fitment of 18inch wheels as my 17inch alloys are bubbling and i think larger wheels would fil...

Re: led upgrade
Another lighting upgrade i fitted about a month ago was to replace the stop and tail lamps with 24 red leds, reverse lamps with clear 24 leds and rear indicators with 36 amber leds and 50 ohm resistors for each to correct the flash rate. You need 50 ohm not 25 ohm resistors as they need to be double...

Re: Mud flaps
Went to Halfords on Monday and looked at their mudflaps.they had two types in stock, their own brand which looked good being a contoured rubber variety and a pair made by Cannon. Decided on the former as i had fitted the Cannon type before on another car and found that they could get trapped between...

Forward facing child seats
Don,t know if this has been posted before but after getting my 2007 cc i needed to purchase two rear chid seats for the grandkids. After much research and many hours trying various makes and types with the main dealers and Halfords i discovered the best ones for a really secure fit were the Britax B...

Re: Locking roof in half cocked position?
I have to hold the switch down for the complete opening or closing sequence. If i let it go at any point the roof or boot stops there and then.So this means i can park the roof in any position for better cleaning access etc etc. I was under the impression they all operated this way or maybe it,s jus...

BEEP BEEP BEEP.
Hi all. On my 2007 CC after starting thr engine i get a series of bleeps. The dealer says it is recognising the fact that the reverse sensors are switched on but it still happens when you switch them off and/or have the car in neutral. Does any one know if this annoying noise can be swithed off.Than...
