With the alloys I bought, there were some plastic inserts that were in the center, is this just to help with allignment? as with these do not fit on the hub so took them out to fit alloys.

Does it vibrate when on tick over too? a common problem on the 1.5 dci is the top engine mount.

I agree I think that we should approach watchdog to see if we can get some support as the cars have general common problems, why do they not recall them back for these issues

I am sure that you would be able to give them the car back and walk away if the car is quite new.

Hello from the sunny south

It's funny, my 1.5 dci has been like this for a couple of weeks, will have to make a list when I send it to the dealers.

My speedo toped at 115mph flat out (but this was fully loaded with stuff for my apartment) and I even had a bike on the back

So expect that I was in real terms doing approx 105mph, not bad for a little 1.5 t/d

I fitted a set of 17" black alloys with polished chrome lip and they look sweet 8) but i am bit put off by the fact that it now looks like I have the same wheel arch clearance of a Land rover :( I will look at lowering it in a couple of months but I think that a 30mm drop will still not make the car...
