Re: engine wont turn over 1.9 dci
I have had the exact same problem, the other day it took a couple of tries to start the car.
If its the steering lock, how can you fix this?

Re: Check Injection - But runs fine
Hi,
Thanks for that, will check/put some more fluid in.. I may have a weeping nipple.. Oo er
Not sure it can be that as I have followed the checks for the glow plugs and they have passed with all being the same voltage.

Oil Leak
Hi All,
I have a 03 plate 1.9 DCi 120bhp, it appears to have a oil leak down the back of the engine on the drivers side, had a quick look but couldn't see where it would be coming from.
Any one have any ideas on this?
Thanks

Re: Brake fluid capacity
Have found the doc referring to both but neither mention that you have to bleed both when doing the other.
The fluid I am going to use is DOT4 but is blue with better boiling points. Docs only say not to use DOT5

Re: Brake fluid capacity
Sorry for the stupid questions, but when bleeding the brakes do I need to touch the clutch or will it just be ok? I am putting in DOT4 but its blue, helps with seeing whats new and old when changing.
Just want to get everything striaght in my head before I start.

Brake fluid capacity
Hi,
Can find out about most fluid capacities but none about the brake fluid.
Can anyone help? How much should I buy if I am going flush the whole system.

I also take it that you don't need anything fancy to the fluid change or anything reset? Also what is the capacity of the brake fluid need to change fully?

Re: A rattle and a judder
on this cars the engine support strut is also a possibility. there is a bushing that can snap and the car will shake a bit when braking, turning and other movements. the solution, according to renault is to swap the engine support strut ( loool ). Fortunately for us there are after market bushings ...
