Megane coupé immobiliser issue
I have 2003 Renault Megane coupé. When I bought the car it didn't have an original stereo system in so I bought one off ebay and installed it. All was well, I drove the car to work the next day but when I got back in to go out to lunch it wouldn't start again. It hasn't started since. I got the AA t...

Re: Another window thread
Got a new button from the Renault dealer today. Fitted it but problem is still there.
Think I'm going to trace all the wires and plugs and spray them down with WD40 to make sure there is no retained moisture and all connections are good.

Re: Stickies for fuel consumption
I have a 1.4 lt megane coupe (petrol). My fuel consumption display usually reads between 27 and 28 m p/g.
I do a lot of short trip city drives.
looking at some of the other results mine seems a bit low. Is this normal?

This might be one for the tips and tricks forum:
Can anyone tell me how to change the fuel consumption display from miles p/gallon to miles p/litre or even better kilometres p/litre?

Re: Engine tapping noise
I'm not certain if the megane has hydraulic tappets but usually if the oil level is low hydraulic tappets would make a tapping noise (Top of the engine head at the cam shaft). As for the blue smoke, sounds like burning oil. I wonder if a ring has gone. I would remove the spark plugs one by one and e...

I got it home to find a few problems. Using the information in these forums I was able to fix all the problem...
