Is there away to check the timing belt without a major stripped down of a 1.5dci K9k 732 engine?
I have been told that it was changed at 120,000k but I am not too sure as it looks rather dirty around the area and the car has only done 126,000 k.

The nearside drive shaft seal is leaking on my 1.5dci, not badly just leaves an oil spot on the drive each day, I would like to have it changed or do it myself which ever anyone who has had it done recommends.

I bought mine in Spain and had the language changed to English in the local Renault dealer for €10 about £9 at todays rate.

Thanks for your reply tomalamix but I think I may have used the wrong terminology when I said crap, what I meant was that the systems still isnt as cold as I think it should be even after a recharged and pollen filter change.

At last Renault have supplied the part.

I have had the air con recharged and changed a completely blocked pollen filter and still the air con is crap, is this a trait of renault or could there be another problem?

I had the same problem on my 1.5 and it was the rear engine mount, the one that looks like a rod,dead easy to replace.

Mine was the same until I replaced a completly blocked pollen filter now works fine.

Have had the language changed at last, done by a renualt dealer, cost 10 euros, about £9.50ish.
