Re: Some info on brakes please.

Sorry if this reply is a bit late. I bought a complete set of cross drilled and grooved discs and pads including rear bearings and abs rings off eBay for £220. It took just under 4 hours to carry out the complete change over with the help of my brother. I shall post a couple of pics if I can to show...

Re: My first mod, AUX Port fitted!

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. Just to reiterated, the cable plugs into the Aux port on the back of the stereo. If I remember correctly, you have to unplug the cd changer lead from the back of the stereo, clip this side by side to your new aux plug, then plug both into the back of the stereo Th...

Re: How to retrofit cruise control, step by step..

Hi there,

I have a terrible memory, but I'm 100% sure that the steering wheel doesn't need removing. It does help to tilt the steering wheel up as high as possible and pull out as far as possible though. The shroud will come off after removing a few screws.

Hope this helps.

Changing a rear light on a Megane, easy or hard?

I might have to change a rear passenger side light on my friends Megane. Is this a quick unplug, unbolt, replace, plug in, job done, or is it going to be a little more complicated than that? Any advice is welcome, cheers guys.

Re: MP3 connection to update list for less then a tenner*upd

Guys, if it's just a 3.5mm AUX headphone port you require to plug your IPod or MP3 player into then you might find this handy:

You could try DTUK. Google that and have a look at their website mate :) You should be looking at an extra 18bhp and 40nm of torque.

Re: My first mod, AUX Port fitted!

The CD Auto Changer is still fully funtional as this is CD 1-6 when you cycle through the source menu. To listen to music on your ipod 'I have a shuffle' I connect this to the AUX Port and sellect AUX on the source menu. Hope this helps.

Re: My other car is a....

Well, up until Sunday I was the very proud owner of a Supertouring V6 Vectra no. 0284 for the last 12 years. But has now gone to a loving home due to me buying a diesel. But that's okay cos the new car is a Megane CC :)
