Re: Simple improvements

induction kit is best but i have a K&n panel filter and even that has made a difference with no modding. Generally a good solid service with help a petrol out more than a remap. Diesels benefit more from remaps than Petrols tbh. Exhaust can make a small difference not massive. Generally though y...

Re: Auto gearbox malady

Had the same problem on my 2008 1.8VVT Dynamique, EVM Value? the part is about £56 but involved gearbox removal. COst me £450 to get mine done at my local renault Dealer (Lifestyle Renault, Tunbridge Wells, Kent) and it ewas done in 1/2 a day. Sound to me like they are taking the pish mate. Also rin...

Re: BODYWORK DAMAGE !

another option is to ring a dent removal service... they come to your house with a high suction vaccum and pretty much suck the dent back into shame.

probably cheapest and best option

Re: exhaust

yeah remove the middle box, and it will increase the noise. both boxes relate to noise levels my advise to anyone doing this is...got to a powerflow sponsored exhaust place and have them build you a new exhaust... tailor made to your specs... had my ford escort made so that at low revs it was quiet ...

Re: lowering springs

I have mine lowered using spax springs (45mm) on 19's (215,35,19) and i only catch my centre box rarely when in the lower levels of my works multi storey car park.

no real peoblems with speed bumps if you go over them slow(i hate them anyways).

Re: fuel flap

mine started to be a bit temperamental. I need to unlock 8 times for it to retract completely. Do you think WD40 will do the trick? initially it will work, but as its plastic it will make it worse over time, if you have it open use some lube type spray (liquid grease that solidifies after 10/20 sec...
