Shallow mount 10" sub or regular ?

A sealed custom box enclosure has just 15 L internal volume.

A 10" Kenwood sub has a 18.4 L recommendation .

A 10" JBL shallow mount sub has 14.15 L, whats best and what is the difference if the Kenwood was used ?

Re: dci problem rumours.

Not a proper source of information, lol.

You won't get the truth from the stealers who rarely put there hands up to a problem.

It's making sense to me.

A Scenics turbo let go and feasted on its own engine oil juring an mot smoke test !!

And why a Nissan Qashqai was on its 4th turbo.

Re: dci problem rumours.

Copied from HONEST JOHN . CO.UK On 1.5 and 1.9DCIs EGR valve should open to allow carbon dioxide, which acts as a cooling gas) into the combustion chambers when the engine is under load (>30% boost). This allows the combustion chamber temperature to drop and thus the temperature of the exhaust gases...

dci problem rumours.

On another marquee forum something about turbo failure because of faulty egr , C02 in exhaust gasses cooling effect ?

And if battery fails the power steering is lost and has to be coded back in by the main stealer ?

Please confirm and expand.

Re: Tyre guide..

The maths is a bit irrelevant as tyre manufacturer's don't keep to the sizes.

Re: 1.5 dci slow start.

We've already had a few years ago the O ring failure on the fuel return rail. Which causes it to urinate diesel on the road.

What a pile these Renono's are.

It's been going on for 9 months. Glow worms changed, no improvement.

Slow to start, hot or cold, slightly better hot.

Re: Which fuel filter ?

Simples in the end.

Fleabay images were of no use.

I went to a motorfactors who had both, they looked identical except the bottom had a cutout recess for the water sensor version.

Popping off the offside wheel arch access cover you can see the filter and its bottom had NO sensor.
