Got a few quotes today locally and it seems everywhere states its a 7.8 hour job (Im sure its not though) so independant garages charge around £35ph and most want around £350 + Parts.
Think Im going to hold out for one which has already been changed

I am 20 and have been quoted £1200 a year with elephant.
2 years NCB, 3 Points, car parked on public road.

Flux direct also give very ceap quotes but I have heard bad things

I'm looking to buy a megane 225, it doesn't have full service history and the cambelt has not been changed and is due. Although this is reflected in the price. If I get the car I will book it in for a full service straight away. I was thinking oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, spark plugs,...
