Re: Scenic Owner - A Tale of Woe
Haven't updated this thread for a while, but had a few more problems with the Scenic. Earlier in the year we had the heater transistor fail again! Now another (3rd or 4th, I've lost count) ignition coil has failed. Called Renault today and no help. Now outside the extended 4 year warranty on the coi...

Noise when locking car
I just had my 54 Scenic into Kwik Fit yesterday to fix a wheel bearing issue. I noticed when I took the car away that the clock was flashing, which would suggest they've disconnected the battery. Now when I lock the car (central locking via keycard) i get a high pitched whining bleeping noise which ...

Connecting PC to Scenic
I have a 2004 Scenic Grand. I get it serviced at my local garage, so the SERVICE and SPANNER icons do not disappear from my dashboard when a service has been done. Can I connect my laptop to the car and easily reset the service countdown?
If so, what do I need and where do I get it?!
thanks

Scenic Owner - A Tale of Woe
Hi. Filling you in on some back story. Just so I can rant and feel better! So I bought my Scenic Grande 54 plate in April 07. Didn't have any problems with it until it's warranty ran out at the end of last year, then everything seems to be going wrong with it. First had an ignition coil go, ended up...

Recommend me a head unit
I'm looking to replace the Tuner List CD player in my 54 Seanic. Needs to have iPod connectivity and be able to connect to the controls at the steering wheel (with adaptor if necessary). Built-in bluetooth hands free connectivity for mobile would be great too.

About to buy a Scenic - advice wanted!
I'm interested in buying a Grand Scenic and have spotted a 1.6 VVT Dynamique, 54 plate, with 30k miles at £8,595. There are a few concerns I have, which I'd like advice on... 1. The rear passanger-side tyre is balding on the outer rim. I've asked for the tyre to be replaced, and for suspension...
