The auto lights should stay off once you have deactivated them?

This is such a common problem its unreal Unfortunately it was the last straw for me and I decided to get rid of my meg. Keep on to renault uk, they must know its a problem but more people need to moan ad fight back!!

Haha.. When I first started to have this problem, the grinding noise on startup would never happen when my meg was parked outside on our drive (its sloped!). After driving it for a good few miles today and on the motorway I've decided it was def. the right decision! I bought it private but its still under warranty and my meg isn't any more (they should come with a free lifetime warranty) It may not look as good but its still nice and will be reliable hop...

They are good prices, and breakdown cover is something you definitely need when driving a megane around!

I always had this problem and was advised to change the coil packs so I did and it has got a lot better now! I used to see the message about twice a day and now its about once a month *touch wood*

Dont know anything about this but mine has gone and its not under warranty so I have just bought the part from renault. My dad is fitting it

At least yours went while its still under warranty!

Mine does this when going down hills or round sharp corners or speed bumps etc. Its the engine mountin with mine.....
