Re: How to use an RAC-144 Fault Code Reader

Thank you so much. Now I have the fault code. PO340 which says Camshaft Position Sensor A - Bank 1 Circuit Malfunction. Does that mean the sensor is shot? If so do you know where it is and is it easy to change? Many thanks for your contribution so far.

Re: occasional suddering when first pulling away from cold

Re: Occasional Misfire - Any Suggestions?

Thanks for that you were absolutely right. I bought a coil and randomly selected a cylinder. After I changed the first on the left there was no change; but when I swapped it with the coil on number three cylinder it was fine. Total cost £17.32 including P&P.

occasional suddering when first pulling away from cold

Its fully serviced with just 30k on the clock and had a full service at 26k with a cambelt change. Occasionally when you start the car first thing in the morning, as you try to pull away the r...

Occasional Misfire - Any Suggestions?

Hi All A few months ago I bought a 2005 1.6VTI megane saloon. Two owners from new and a FSH confirming mileage of just 26,000 from new. As it was sourced from a trade outlet and needed a service the car received a major service including cambelt change. It also required a replacement spring on the r...
