Thanks Ray. It's been very humid in Newcastle recently. Might be something to do with that. Thanks for your help.

Central locking and key card - mind of it's own.

Hi all I've a 54 plate megane dymanique vvti 16. Yesterday the car started randomly locking and unlocking the central locking on it's own very quickly when ever the engine is switched off. Both keycards are now intermittently unresponsive often locking me out of the card. A couple of days previously...

Re: Warranty and window regulator

Yeah they will be covered by the existing warranty if it's a Renault dealer. Even if they werent providing the window fault relates to the regulator and the car is less the 7 years old and has less than 100k on the clock they will pay 75% of the cost which will mean a payment of ~ £114 for each wind...

Tries to stall on first rev in the morning

Hi all I've a 55 plate 1.6 vvt petrol which runs fine normally however one thing does get on my wick. On starting in the morning the car needs to idle for a minute or so before I can give it some gas. If I start it and give it gas straight away the revs drop right off and the car tries to stall. Fur...

Re: Please Help! Alarm Keeps Going Off

I had a similar problem and a mechanic told me to lightly spray the sensors with hairspray. It actually worked too. Probably best to get the actual fault sorted though.

Re: Reverse Switch

Cheers for the replies. Has anyone got any idea of the cost to fit the part with a main dealer?

Reverse Switch

Hi all

I've a 55 plate 1.6 16v dymanique. The reverse switch which enables the reverse lights and wipers appears to be knackered and I'm wondering how much the cost would be for replacement at a main dealer. I'm based in Newcastle upon Tyne If that helps.

Cheers.
