hi there, if I was you I would try putting your standard HU back in, if the speakers work after doing this, try the new unit back in, if they fail again then there's something wrong with the speaker outputs on the new headunit, if that's the case take it back to the shop and get a replacement. hope ...

you can change the dials to ones from a model 06 onwards.. I think. not entirely sure if the dials fitment is the same but its the whole unit that will need changing. You can change the colour of your current dials but it's a lot of work. its a major overhaul with a soldering iron, if you chose to d...

hi mate,, no there units are resonably new as they were replaced along with the bumper and the reinforcement bar, and the radiator.. ive just recently put on a r26 front end, which includes the lights with the black bits as you described, its the new headlamp units i have for sale, as i swapped them...

well my car was in a prang.. and so all got replaced, the lights are genuine reno parts and are reasonably new, Ive no idea what they sell for mate, they're immaculate with no chips or anything.. make me an offer mate, chances are i'll take it. Only reason i have them spare is because i swapped mine...

Fit a HID kit, bulbs last ages, ive had my set in 3 years now, and ive yet to replace a bulb.

Dont see a problem with that as long as 2 rears are the same, and the fronts are the same..

Thanks a lot for your help mate.. so for splitting the remote lead, and power, just get 2 distribution blocks? and run a 4guage from battery to boot, then into dist.block, and then 2 8guage out...? ground isnt a problem, will just use seperate grounds. all you need to do is replace headlamp mounts, and the lamps themselves, everything else is straight swap..
I have a resonably new set of ph2 projector lamps if your interested..

have you cleaned the egr valve?.. they tend to get gummed up too..
