No you don't need to swap the constant and ignition around as Renault run the standard iso wiring layout. Some people put there own ignition live in but it's not necessary.

Double check the telemute is making a solid connection. Also you could try updating the unit. To do this you require a laptop with Bluetooth and downloading the updated tool from parrot's website. I have an old 3200ls which kept doing that but also freezing a simple update cured it.

Hi just an update. Took out the fuse box in the engine bay. As suspected completly flooded. So spent all day with a hair dryer on it. Luckily enough there is no corrosion however once plugged back in car wouldn't start. There is no longer a drain on the power. Does anyone know if this could simply n...

Went to start the car today after filling up. Wouldn't start, just turned ignition on. When you say the "mechanism" do you meant to open the unit up and change. or the steering lock as a whole. I though they were coded?

Red = Ignition
Yellow = Permantent
Orange = Illumination
Blue = Antenna Remote (if your looking at the wrong harness it is telemute)
Blue/White = Amp Remote

Hi i have a similar issue accept mine is unlocked and will not lock whenever i start the car it just makes a cluncking sound then airbag light and service light come on. very likely to be the brake light switch, i don't know where it is located though. A lot of the time it just gets stuck or lose.

hi i have just had the same problem, they replaced the dephaser pulley and the camshaft sensor changed which seemed to cure it but not conpletely i also have just changed the tdc sensor and the car seems a lot better.

does anyone know where I can get a double din facia for a pre 2007 model. I have checked autoleads and connects 2 neither make one. and to get the kenwood specific fitting kit I am looking at £50.
