I agree with iainMW £305 to fix a broken wire is ridiculous!!! I use arnold clark to buy cars because they tend to be cheaper but never NEVER use them for service or repairs, My nearest Arnold Clark Renault Service Dept do not have a clue!! My Megane cc has been with my nearest renault service...

took it to local renault dealer this morning, been diagnosed as faulty TDC sensor, not as bad as first feared, £150 all in to replace
will let you know if it is cured, getting it back tomorrow

not trying to stick up for renault but
over the last few years, we have had 2003 clio, 2004 clio, 2001 espace, 2003 laguna and now 2004 megane cc and i can honestly say they have all been very reliable, only let down by poor after sales service from Arnold Clark.

i have given up!
the speed limit function works ok but i dont really want that function.
the cruise control doesnt work at all, i am gutted, am going to remove all resistors etc from switches
