Engine Vibration and brakes gone funny all at once!
Hey all, My 1.9 DCi Meg seems to have decided to throw a load of problems at me all at once! First off, there is now a lot of engine vibration when idling This is constant and whenever the car is idling. Putting my foot on the clutch does not effect the lumpiness or vibration. The revs are not chang...

Noticed you have a pipecross panel filter as well....did you find it was not the snuggest fit ever? Seemed a bit loose in the housing

Re: DPF Removal & Remap Results
Blimey hopefully I wont have that problem! Im getting it done mainly because I very rarely drive on motorways so regenerating the soot filter doesnt happen very often! Im not expecting much from gain in HP from the removal, however they are doing a performance remap at the same time which hopefully ...

Clock Screen....
Not really a problem but just wondered if there is anyway to change what appears on the clockscreen? I have an after-market HU so I know nothing detailed will appear however Ive seen in other threads that someone has 'Renault' displaying.
Just curious....

Re: exterior door handles
Not personally done it but found this....... Front Handle removal =============== Disconnect power to the door by disconnecting the multi-block power connector near the door hinges. Open the (front) door & find the latch mechanism at the back edge of the door. There are 3 screws holding the latc...

Re: Possible EGR?
Hi, Im no tekkie but Ive recently cleaned my EGR valve but mines a 1.9 dci. It was relatively straight forward to do and there was a big improvement after. Im not sure theres a guide on here on the 1.5 engine, may be worth investing in a Haynes manual for £20. Have a look at this thread http://www.m...

Re: DPF Removal & Remap Results
Yeah ive noticed that you have had it done, seem to be one of the only people on here who has! From what they have said they are going to hollow it out, cant seem to find a delete pipe thats made for the 130 so im happy with that. Its been put back to next Tuesday now so we will have to wait a littl...

DPF Removal & Remap Results
Howdy, I'm off to get my Megane 130's DPF Filter removed along with a remap by Angel Tuning on Thursday. £550 all in which I thought was reasonable from a reputable company. I will let you know the results for anyone looking at doing this. Ill try and get it on a rolling road as well to see what eff...

Re: Lack of answers to questions and posts
Dave, I am a novice and will hold my hands up to that. How can I possible offer any constructive help to anyone? There would be a lot of people with very broken meganes if I started giving advice! Obviously when i become more confident with the way the megane works and have more experience then I'll...

No doubt it's the regulator! Give Renault a call as it's a common fault, when mine went they paid 90% of the cost
