If you have the phase 2 model (with the LED rear lights) you should have the Updatelist,
with the Phase 1 model you should have the Tunerlist, it's as simple as that

Perhaps a dirty throttle body that needs cleaning? I had this 2 times, 3 years ago and just a few months ago.
In both cases it was resolved with cleaning the throttle body.

Although I wouldn't describe it as grinding/rattling, but more like the engine is running on half power.

If your Megane is from 2006, you will probably have the Updatelist instead of the Tunerlist radio (The model is listed on the radio front)? It seems so on your picture to be an UPdatelist anyway. A 7-speed gearbox is technical far more complex and therefore more expensive, so it would increase the price of the car.

Also a 7-speed takes more space and weight than a 5 or 6-speed, and we all know that weight is not good for fuel economy
