Re: HEATER PROBLEM + QUESTION

Fantastic, above and beyond the reply I was expecting. Thank you very much.

Especially with the video link. Looks easier than I thought it would.

Cheers.

Re: HEATER PROBLEM + QUESTION

Any chance of one of my questions being answered please? Seems to be a theme on this forum!

My no. 4 fan speed still doesn't work. Would replacing the Thermal Resistor fix this?

Thanks

Re: 2.0 Litre Petrol sounding loud and rough!

Any help anyone? This is apparently a common issue with Megané II pre facelift models.

Many thanks.

2.0 Litre Petrol sounding loud and rough!

I have a problem but not sure what it could be. I have a Megane II VVT Dynamique 2.0 litre petrol, and the car starts perfectly fine first time. The only thing is it sounds a bit like a diesel, lol. It just sounds a bit loud and rough, and this doesn't change once the engine has warmed up. It's cons...

Re: HEATER PROBLEM + QUESTION

Wow 6 years and no reply!!

As of yesterday my number 4 fan setting has stopped working. Is this a motor or resistor problem? I have an 2.0 litre Petrol 2004 Hatchback.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ok cool. Do I need to actually plug it into the battery? It's a Halfords HB075 battery.

What is this??

Had a bad day today. Car wouldn't start this morning. Press the start button and all I got was a series of clicks! I put the blame squarely on the battery failing so after work I went to Halfords and got a new one. Managed to swap them over without interrupting the power using two sets of jump leads...

Headlights stopped working.

Hello, Not been on here in a while. My headlights have stopped working, both at the same time. I assume this is fuse related as the chances of both bulbs going at the same time is, what....? Dipped, full beams and fog lights are all ok. How do I access the fuse box? I know where it's located but I a...

Re: Anyone with Parrot (or any bluetooth phone connecting th

I've got a parrot kit. Not sure which model but it's great. The speach recognition thing is crap though. Basically to initiate a voice command you say 'mobile' and it beeps to let you know it's ready for the next command, e.g. Call John Smith etc etc The trouble I've had though is it's too sensitive...

Re: CHECK INJECTION DISPLAYED!!!

Have you fixed it then Meggy? I had this flash up a couple of months back while on the road and the car got really sluggish to drive. Like driving through treacle! lol I pulled over and turned the engine off, waited 30 seconds and turn it on again with no problems. Not seen this issue since. I have ...

New Washer Jets

Hi there, The windscreen washer jets on my 54 plate 2.0l Petrol are shiiiiiiite! Is there any way of replacing these with the 'fan' shaped washer jets you find on other cars? Has anyone changed these over before? If not I'll change them like for like with some new ones from the dealership. Many thanks

CHECK INJECTION message (Yes, another thread!)

Ok, so I was driving home from dropping the missus off at work and the car suddenly goes all sluggish with poor acceleration. Kinda like driving through treacle! The Service light is lit and CHECK INJECTION is displayed on the dash. I pull over and turn the engine off. I turn it on again after about...
