reach in to change side light and the full beam, the passenger side is a little tighter, squeezing between the battery and air pipe, but it is "do-able" :) You must have hand like a 5 year old :P. I change my side lights recently and they took me an hour each due to poor access. Ended up ...

Reason it is so high is the missus had an accident last year and the claim was about 10k. I will have a look into them though.

From what i have read around and about a chip will not give you any great gains on performance as your car is N/A (turbo'd cars will see the biggest gains). I would first off try to investigate why the car is using more and more fuel. Not a mechanic so can't make any suggestions. I wouldn't have tho...
