had cambelt kit supplied and fitted at my local garage for 190 pounds.stuff the dealers.kit was £80 they said.megane 2004 1.5 dci.

ive had the wet fusebox problem on my 2004 1.5 dci megane estate.had to have new one fitted.put rubber mat on top to stop water from wing which has no runner to direct rain away.had drivers window repaired,back one doesnt work.only had car 5/6 weeks and not impressed at al with renault engineering.i...

cheers mark,been trying today but its aolid.unclipped gaiter and spen ages wiggling it and gave up.got new gearnob but sod it i,ll keep old one,ade.

hi mate,i,d just leave it off.all i say is check your fusebox as its directly under the n/s wing which has no runners to direct the rainwater from it and the seal on top of it perishes and water gets in and causes havoc.cut a piece of old rubber car mat or put plastic bag on it to keep it dry.i had ...

hi alex,i bought a 2004 megane 1.5 dci and after a few days had the same problem.got car recovered to autolecs but was starting ok so no diagnosis. had new cambelt done and wouldnt start again.garage towed it to autolecs for me and diagnostics showed fusebox faulty had new one fitted{£275] atogether...

my local autolec says that renault are known to have this problem. the regulators pack in all the time.some times as in my case it was the motor.130 quid a go he says.put 2nd hand motor on for me.still got rear one not working.ade.

hi cadders 12,i bought a 1.5 dci last month and i had a starting problem.it was the fusebox under the bonnet and just had it done yesterday.my local autolecs are called motolec and they diagnosed and repaired it for £274 all in.if that cures it as they 100% say it will i,m happy.how can the fusebox ...
