You have two parts, one behind the black square part is the cheaper part which suffers from water ingress. No actually the sensor is really cheap £25-£35. I think the handle was £70. Once you've opened up the door handle you may be able to save some of the sensors once you have dried them and check for corrosion etc. Is the sensor in the Door Handle itself OR is it the black square pad with the two circ...
