Nothing in the manual about this for the petrol models, one thing I did notice in the fault finding section of the manual was that if all the compents being changed on cylinder 1 havent fixed try cylinder 4. I changed the injector for a new one, however, I still get misfire cylinder 1 and it now feels lumpier on idle than it did before.

Any ideas.

Yes 1 is closest to battery, I changed the plug and moved the coils around then cleared the fault. The fault for misfire cylinder 1 comes back on within a few minutes on tickover. Can anyone advise me on the procedure to change an injector on my phase 1 225.
I have the dreaded light flashing and its a fault on cylinder 1 which doesnt go by swapping around plugs or coil.

Looking down on the engine from the front, how are the cylinders numbered, I have a 225.

My elm say's I have a misfire cylinder 1 but I don't know which is that cylinder.

I would have thought the software was more flexible than the hand held odb units.

Do you think the odb usb tool I have will be elm 327 based. I cant find the info on it, but I used to use it on a 2001 Leon cupra and a 2002 golf.

I have an odb scanner which I purchased for a leon cupra a few years ago. From the look if it its the same one as required for the megane.
I only have the vagcom software for it so that wont be any good.

Can some recommend software to use on the megane, pref free and maybe a link.

I get no beep and no message, headlights work fine turning them on manually. The auto wipers for the front work ok, my rear wiper doesnt work at all, dont know why, been looking for am wiring diagram, i checed the wiper motor thats good, and the fuse is good.

I am wondering if auto lights and the rear wiper could have beem disabled by renault in the past ?

This doesnt work on mine, I think it may have been deactivated in the ecu in the past, is that poss ?
